My name is Lucas Post. I am a 24 year old student at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, department of Music and Technology in The Netherlands and specialize in Studio Technology, Live Audio and Sound Design.

When I had just started playing in a band, buying a Tascam us-144 L sparked my curiosity for recording and mixing music. I found out I loved it even more than playing in the band itself.

Over the years, my interest developed and I bought more and more gear. Therefore I started to consider a study about music/sound without too much focus on playing an instrument. I visited the HKU and knew this was where I wanted to go. I sent out my work for the admission and this worked out well.

Currently, I am in my second year of the four year study with my personal focus on recording, mixing and mastering music. I do this with a lot of pleasure and excitement and I am looking forward to learning more each day.
